First Aid at Work

The updated regulations have not affected our cost effective recognised training.

 

October 01, 2013 the HSE adjusted the recognition of first aid training providers.  'HSE numbers' for training organisations will no longer be recognised.  Rather the onus is on the employer to take care in selecting their first aid training provider - the employer has to exercise due diligence in this selection.  As an ITC Centre following the rigorous quality assurance procedures of ITC Awarding Body you can rest assured that MWS meets all the due diligence required by any employer. 

No requirement to establish due diligence is required by you, due to MWS Awarding Body Centre approval - HSE due diligence link   

ITC certification allows individuals to satisfy the needs of multiple employers.

 

We offer all of the statutory first aid at work qualifications throughout the UK. First Aid is a practical subject and our training reflects this with up to 80% of course delivery being practical in nature.  Practice makes permanent:

First Aid at Work Assessment Principles - the HSE published website states that trainers, assessors and those involved with internal quality assurance of first aid should follow the published assessment principles (Appendix 2 for trainers & Assessors.  Appendix 3 for Internal Quality Assurers).
