Suitable for Mountain Leaders (ML, WML, MIA, MIC, IML), Climbing Instructors (SPA), Ski instructors (BASI), Mountain Guides (BMG), Kayak and Canoe Instructors (BCU, SCA), Mountain Bike Instructors (MIAS), D of E Award Leaders, Field Assistants, Teachers, Youth Workers. Anyone spending time in the outdoors or wilderness environments through recreational, voluntary or work related activities. It is an Ofqual qualification and IOL standard 3 course. Advanced Outdoor First Aid - 2 Days (ITC)

T hese courses are designed especially for the outdoor person who may be away from immediate help for some time. It covers the requirements of all of the outdoor national governing body Instructor awards, making you advanced at the basics and skillful at techniques. Providing knowledge and developing relevant understanding, it builds upon previous knowledge enhancing casualty monitoring techniques and extending incident management skills. This course deals with relevant issues: Adult/child. Urban/remote. Single/team. Minutes/hours, and offers a proactive approach to incident management. For those who wish to deliver regulated OFA.

Venue: Hartlepool Headland Fire Station Hours: 48 Address: Durham Street, Hartlepool, Teesside, TS24 0HQ Notes: This is the only Awarding Organisation developed first aid trainer-assessor qualification that is approved by the Assessment Principles for delivering regulated first aid qualifications, i.e. those qualification on the national databases of regulated qualifications (Ofqual, SQA, Qualifications Wales). it is delivered and assessed during the course and will allow successful candidates to be delivering regulated first aid qualifications. A dynamic active course containing knowledge of the sector, teaching and assessing techniques directly relevant to delivering first aid qualifications. Cost 600 + vat = 720.
