Forest School First Aid (16 hours)
Forest School First Aid For Forest School Leader Groups
The Forest School First Aid course is designed to meet the specific needs of Forest Schools Practitioners. Forest Schools Practitioners are required to hold an Outdoor First Aid Qualification which has additional elements of paediatric first aid inbuilt .
At MWS First Aid we have been working closely with ITC First Aid our Awarding Organisation to develop an appropriate Forest Schools First Aid qualification that is fit for purpose. MWS First Aid is now a member of the Forest School First Aid Provider register. This is the only register which lists the organisations which can deliver the Forest School First Aid Award run by an Awarding Organisation (approved by HSE, Ofqual, & SQA) that has piloted and developed tailored training which is totally integrated with the Forest School ethos and rationale. MWS is able to offer the delivery of this course by an active and qualified Forest School Leader.
